Three months salary on an Engagement Ring? Why?

Well……Diamond what is the average price people spend on diamond rings? After selling thousands of diamonds over the years I can surely say that Engagement Rings are sold from hundreds of thousands of dollars to as little as one hundred dollars. From my experience most people who buy with me buy $2000 – $4000. Most people are looking for at least 1 carat The reason is that they realize that as they mature and age if they marry young they don’t want to have to upgrade later in life. Some people when very young go for the ¾ carat to save a little and get married on a budget. However, most people in reality on the internet realize they are on a budget and not looking at or Harry Winstons for their. Instead they are looking for first size of the because most everybody knows the first thing most women ask each other is “how big is it” So the reality becomes size matters. Then they have some flexibility usually white diamonds in the F-G range to avoid yellow diamonds and of then clarity (they want to avoid black carbon so that’s how they often end up on my site). They also want a good shine, cut and things like that. Being on the internet they kind of factor in their budget and try to get the most they can like everybody else but overall they just want a good looking diamond.
